It is based on the Tehuana woman who would give life to the source of inspiration of the identity that Frida made of herself and other artists of her time, like María Izquierdo, who sought their identity in the Mexican elements.
This piece is the first in the series. The work pro- cess begins with the modeling in plasticine of the skull. Later, the pieces that make up the head- dress are worked independently.
Once the pieces are made in plasticine, the pro- cess continues with the 3D modeling, which is done after the digitalization by 3D scanning the in- dividual pieces that make up the piece.
After being digitalized, they are reproduced in re- sin using a 3D high-definition printer.
Once printed, the traditional process of the mold in silicon begins, the casting in wax and then the traditional casting of the process from bronze to lost wax.
